Your journey begins with a free 15-minute Discovery Call, an informal, introductory call for you and Andi to get to know each other briefly and have a conversation about how the practice runs and how she may be able to help you with your health goals. No direct medical advice is given at this appointment.
If you both decide that you are a good fit for each other, your Foundational Consult will be scheduled.
After your health history paperwork is completed you will meet for your Foundational Consult, at which time Andi will get to know you and your unique health challenges. Through this discussion, Andi will be putting the details of your health-history together to start “connecting the dots” and identifying root causes and patterns of your symptoms. This is a one-time, deep-dive consultation where you learn about the unique imbalances that may be causing symptoms and impacting your health and life.
Based on your assessment, Andi will discuss preliminary interventions, lifestyle changes, supplements, and treatment recommendations that can jumpstart your health goals. She may also recommend further testing to more deeply investigate your health, which may utilize a combination of standard blood work and functional diagnostic testing.
Examples of further testing recommendations may include hormone evaluation, urine metabolites (e.g., DUTCH), metabolic testing, stool testing (e.g., GI MAP), nutrient status evaluation (e.g., HTMA), genetic testing (e.g. 3X4 Genetics), organic acid testing, and heavy metal testing. (Testing is not included in the visit cost.)
*You will be required to complete the online forms and upload any recent lab work at least 72 hours in advance. This is needed so Andi can thoroughly review your important medical/lab history before your first visit, allowing her to focus on you, your unique story, and your goals during your appointment. Prepare to spend an hour or so filling out this paperwork and uploading any documents (labs, photos, etc.).
At your follow-up visit, Andi will thoroughly review any tests ordered during your Foundational Consult visit, evaluate progress with your preliminary treatment plan, dive deeper into your questions and concerns, and design your personalized, holistic, actionable health plan based on your needs, your readiness, and your preferences.
